Do you work on road tractors and big rigs?
Yes. Class 8 tractors, straight trucks, service bodies and fleet units are the trucks we started on.
Can you come to my yard?
That is the whole point of a service truck. We work in your yard, on your lot or on the shoulder.
Do you handle farm and construction equipment?
Yes. Agricultural and construction diesel equipment gets the same diagnostics and repair as the trucks.
Do you do fleet maintenance?
Yes. If you run more than one diesel, call and we will talk about keeping them all on a schedule.
What should I tell you when I call about a truck?
The unit (make, model and year), where it sits, what it is doing (codes, smoke, no start, air or electrical trouble) and whether it can still move. From that you get a straight answer on whether it is a roadside, yard or shop job.
Can I bring the truck to the shop instead?
Yes. If the unit can get to Preston, bringing it in saves the road call. We run a full shop as well as the service truck.
Do you handle wheel ends and the small stuff?
Hubs, studs, wheel seals and the small failures that sideline a big truck are regular work. A sheared stud found early is cheaper than a lost wheel; the gallery has one we caught.
Do you service generators and site equipment?
Yes. Loaders, excavators, generators and site equipment get the same diagnostics and repair as the trucks, on the job so the job keeps going.
How does fleet maintenance work?
Scheduled oil, filters, fluids and inspections across your units, on a schedule set with you, so breakdowns become the exception. If you run more than one diesel, call and we will talk it through.
Will you tell me if it is not worth fixing?
Yes. An honest read on what is wrong and a straight price is the whole point of the name. If a repair does not make sense for the unit, you hear that before anyone buys parts.
Where on the Shore do you go for trucks?
Dorchester, Caroline, Talbot and Wicomico are home turf, and we run north into Queen Anne's and Kent County and out to Delaware and Virginia. Somewhere else? Call and ask.
